Happy 2016!

Hello Watchers! (All two of you left on this decrepit old site )

As we herald in a new (leap) year, I thought I'd dust off this neglected old journal and say hi! Unlike most of my fellow DA users, I haven't been inactive because I'm disillusioned with the site, or going through art blocks or anything like that, I just needed to take some time off and be at peace, as well as enjoy my marriage (which is now 3 months old, Yay!). As you've hopefully noticed, though, I have actually been doing quite a bit over December, going through an art-recharge, as it were and trying out some new styles and approaches to dust off the cobwebs, and I'm pretty happy with the results too! Otherwise, the year has just begun and I've already dropped a glass teapot on my foot, shattering the vestibule, cutting my toe and leaving little blood spots all over the house and the back wheel of my bicycle randomly decided to make a heady dash for freedom as I was cycling uphill, an experience most harrowing and slightly bemusing (I'm too jaded by this nonsense to actually get upset about it nowadays).

I do wish all of you a fruitful and amazing 2016, because last year was frankly quite rubbish for most of us. Also, buy into the hype and play Undertale, it's worth every minute of the emotional turmoil it'll cause you!
