Superman Being Awesome

I had so much fun drawing that I decided to go ahead and ink and colour it... And BOY am I happy with how it turned out!

Superman vs. The Elite was absolutely INCREDIBLE and a huge kudos must go out to the team at WB Animation for consistently putting out seriously high-quality animated films year in and year out! When I was a kid, I ADORED Superman (mainly because he reminded me of my dad) and there are tons of photos of me with a golden mullet, prancing around in home-made Superman spandex (thanks to my awesome mom) from my wonderfully misbegotten youth to prove my fandom. In fact, I pretty much owe my passion for comics to Superman and Tales from the Crypt (seeing as they were the only comics available to buy back then), so ol' big blue deserved a little fan art.

actually very kindly likened the sketch to Ed McGuinness' work, which is a HUGE compliment because that guy is one of my artistic heroes!
